CAPA has partnered with Kulture City, the nation’s leading nonprofit on sensory accessibility and acceptance for those with invisible disabilities. Our venues are officially Kulture City certified, which means our staff and volunteers are provided with continuous training and our venues are available on the Kulture City app. KultureCity signage can be seen throughout our venues to designate quiet areas, headphone zones, and sensory inclusive locations. We also have sensory bags available at all CAPA locations. Sensory bags are offered free of charge for all performances on a first-come, first-served basis and are meant for individuals of any age. Patrons should be directed to the House Manager if they request a sensory bag.

  2.  Take the training online, at your own convenience!

If you’d like to take the training on your own time, you can do so by watching the training video (~42-minutes) HERE and taking the 10 question quiz. Follow the steps below to help get you started.

    • Enter your contact information (name and email) and click the “Choose a Group” dropdown menu and select “Volunteers”.
    • Select the Sensory Inclusion Training of your choice.
    • Click on the play button under “Class Curriculum”.
    • Watch the video and select “Done” when finished.
